Mr. Alexander Aitken's Weekly Report.— A largo business done during tho past week, and the sales have been largely attended; in fact, at 1 Friday's sale the attendance was the largest witnessed for some time, and competition continued keen from commencement to finish, the sale lasting six hours without a break, and mostly every line submitted found purchasers at full market rates. The supply of poultry and pigs was largo, every pen was tilled, and prices on the whole were better than those of the previous week. The supply of fruit was considerably less, and the quality on the whole was not tho best. Prices unaltered; good kinds still commanding good prices. Pototoes are a glut owing to about 4000 sacks of Oamarus having arrived during the week. The demand for local has not been up to the supply, which has been far too heavy, and quality on the whole poor. In consequence of this local potatoes are fast losing their good name, and many ask for Oamarus.
