CHIEF POST OFFICE, AUCKLAND. Mails will close as under: This Day. For Port Fitzroy, Tryphena, and Okupu, per lona, at 7 a. in. For Waiwera, Te Kapa, and Warkworth, per Rose Casey, at 10 a.m. For Snwarrow, per Byno, at 11 a.m. For Gisborne, Napier, and Southern Ports, per Botomahana, at 11 a.m. For Oamaru, per Omapere, at 1 p.m. Friday. For Thames, per Botomahana, at 7 a.m For New Plymouth and Southern Ports, per Gairloch, at 11 a.in. For Cowes and Coromandel, per Coromandel, at 11.30 a.m Per Wanaka as follows :— For India, China, Japan, Mediterranean Ports, and Continent of Europe, at noon. For Taranaki, Southern Ports, Australian Colonies, and United Kingdom, via Suez, for letters, Ac., specially so prepaid and addressed, at 1 p.m. For money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at noon. Late letters till 1.20 p.m. United Kingdom mail will be due at London on June 10. For Opotiki, per Douglas or Chelmsford, at 4 p.m. For Tauranga and Opotiki, per Clansman, at 5 p.m. For Whitiangi, Gum Town, and Upper Mill, per lona, at 5 p.m. For Whangarei Heads, Parua, Waipn, Whangarei, Kamo, and Mangapai, per Wellington or Stormbird, at 5 p.m. Saturday. For Katikati, Aongatete, Tauranga, and Opotiki, via Thames, per Botomahana, at 7 a.m. For Thames, per Botomahana, at 7.30 a.m. Monday. Per Alameda, as follows: For Samoa, Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, British Columbia, Central and South America, British and Foreign West Indies, at 3 p.m For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, at 3 p.m. Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.30 p.m. Late letters, bearing an extra fee of 6d in addition to the postage, will be received by the mail agent on board the steamer up to the time of sailing. This mail will be due at London, May 28 S. B. BISS. Chief Postmaster.
