THE SELEMBRIA.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Napier, Wednesday. Mr. Dobson has received the following cable message from Messrs. Tyser undCo., London : —" Selembria's coals caught fire. As portion of the cargo was damaged by salt water, 12,000 carcases have been sold. The remaining carcases are in prime condition. The refrigerator machinery works well."
[The Colonial Union steamer Selembria made for Monte Video because a fire had broken out in her bunkers. ]
