[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Tuesday. At Amberley to-day Arthur Ryan, jockey, employed by Mr. H. McLean, was thrown while exercising a horse, in going over the hurdles, and received concussion of the brain. Very slight hopes of his recovery are entertained.
