CASE OF RELIGIOUS MANIA.
A SAD case of religious hallucination came before the Newcastle (N.S. W.) police Ceurt the other day. Jeremiah Endean, a resident of Stockton, has been in the habit of attending- the Salvation Army meetings. During the last fortnight he has been labouring under delusions, the latest being that Wad been commanded to offer up his son in sacrifice, as Abraham did Isaac, and he threatened to take his life. He was declared by the medical men to be insane, and was sent to Gladesville. Endean is a finelocking man of determined appearance.
