A meeting of tho Omata Licensing Committee was lield at Oakura on Friday, the 10th. Present: Messrs. G. Adlum, G. W. Gane, F. Silvester, J. Jury, and Thomas Corkill. On the motion of Mr. Gane, Mr. Adlum was elected chairman. Mr. Lawson being the elerk of the committee, read tho minutes of the previous meeting, which were confirmed. Resolved, on the motion of Mr. Gane, seconded by Mr. T. CnrkilL, "That Mr. Lawson be empowered to arrange with Mr. Wise and Co., Oakura, for the use of their room for future meetings at a cost not to exceed ss.
