Otago. Dunedin, Saturday. The annual interprovincial match between Canterbury and Otago was continued and concluded to-day. The weather was excellent, a strong wind blowing, but nob sufficient to interfere with the game. The wicket, which vas very sticky on the previous day, dried up and was very lively, and this it was thought would materially assist the visitors, both in batting and bowling. The Otago not out men resumed, their score being 68 with two wickets down. It mounted up to S6 before a separation was made, and when the adjournment for lunch was taken it stood at 163 with three wickets to fall. On resuming, the end came very speedily, Raynor, who appeared well set, being caught tho first ball, and only four more were added by the last two wickets. Canterbury requiring 197 to win, then went to the wickets for their second innings. The bowling of Otago was very good, and though several stands were made, the scoring was slow, and the last wicket fell for 94. W. P. Reeves put together a well, compiled 31, Studhome 15, and Dunlop 17, none of the other players reaching double figures. Otago thus won the match with 102 runs to spare. Otago.—Second Innings.
