COOK'S TOURISTS.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Thursday. Mr. E. E. Bilbrough, the agent for Messrs. T. Cook and Son's, the well-known tourist managers, has applied to the Government for the same concessions to that firm on coupon railway t'ekets as granted to them by the authorities of the Indian railways. The firm considers that in connection with the 'Melbourne Exhibition a largo proportion of English and American travellers may be expected to visit New Zealand, provided they know beforehand the places worth seeing, how to see them, and specifically what would be the cost of the trip. The Minister of Public Works has the matter at present under consideration.
