Wholesale produce prices: Wheat, p.lme milling, 8s 3d to 3s 5d ; medium to good, 3s Id to 3a 61 ; oats, milling. Is lOd; bright short feed, Is Bid ; barley, prime malting, nominal to 4s 3d ; prime medium, 3a 6d to 8s fld ; beans. 3s Id ; peas, blue Prussian, 3s to 3s 3d; potatoes, Dements, 12s to l&s nominal at country stations ; butter, prime, 4d to 6d; second quality, 2d to 3d; cheese, small loaves, 4d ; other sizes, 3d ; ham and bacon in cloth, fljd to 7Jd ; flour, firsts, £9 to £10. Cattle : Fat, per 1001b, 189 t > 19s ; stores, Rood, &i to £5 58 ; dairy cows, good, £5 to £6. Pigs ; Prima baconers, 3'Js to 35s ; other sorts, 18a to 255. CHRISTCHUECH WOOL SALES. The wool sales opened to-day, there being -large catalogues, principally crossbreds wools. The attendance was good and competition brisk. Prices all round are about £d per lb lower than the correspond* ing salos of last year.
