[F.iOM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENTS. I Hamilton, Wednesday. In the case W. M. Hay v. A. Vincent, claim £16 Ob 6d, the Resident Magistrate yesterday gave judgment for plaintiff, £14 0s 61, Tho debt was due by Vincent to McLeod, and had been assigned to Mr. Hay by MoLeod, who was his client in a recent lawsuit with Vincent. Tk Awamutu, Wednesday. An information has been laid against Te Koti Ratima for larceny as a bailee, the charge being that of annexing a horse, the property ot Koraukorau. Tho same defendant was recently discharged when brought up on a charge of appropriating 20 head of cattle, the evidence being insufficient to commit.
