MASONIC.
The installation of officers of Lodge Duke of Albany, 2073, E.G., took place at Helens' villa on Friday last. The ceremony was conducted by Brother P.M.'s J. P. (Jlark, Cole, and Ludlow in a very impressive manner. Brother Captain Rawson was duly installed into the (.'hair of King Solomon for the second term, and selected his officers as follows Brother Lodder, D. D.G.M., I. P.M. ; Brother I). Stewart, S. W.; Brother A. J. Percival, J.W. ; Brother Burton, treasurer ; Brother (Jheriton, secretary ; Brother Manning, S.D.; Brother Waldron, J.U. ; Brother Pearce, I.G. ; Brothor Nightingale, tyler. Since the last installation the comfort of the lodgeroom has beeu much enhanced, and was very flatteringly remarked upon. After the installation, the company adjourned to the Foresters' Hall, where the third anniversary ball of this lodge had been arranged to take place. The hail was very prettily decorated with ferns, flags, and flowers. Mr. Fred. Reed's baud dispensed trie music during the evening, and gave univeral satisfaction. The catering was provided by Mrs. Hook, and was pronounced as unsurpassed, and reflected the greatest credit on the cateress. The dancing was kept up till five in,, everyone having thoroughly enjoyed them* selves.—[Own Correspondent,!
