Per s.s. McGregor : 100 nests pipes, 12 bends, 6 syphons, 5 rolls matting, 10 ones sewing machines, 22 oases drugs, 6 cases safe cure, 3 oases boots, 1 horse, 1 corn sheller, 1 cask vinegar, 2 oases, 2 packages and 1 bale stationery, 1 case piano, 3 cases and 1 crate crockery. 16 oases glass, 28 mats sugar, 3 chests tea, 58 oases and 13 trusses drapery, and 144 sundry packages. Per s.s. Stormbird: 720 bags sugar, 2 oases boots, and 10 packages.
The Union Company's s.s. Hawea, Captain Hansby, for the South, took her departure at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. The Northern Company's steamers Gairlooh and Macgregor left yesterday, the former at 10 o'clock for Waitara, and the latter at 3 o'clock for Wanganui and Wellington. The s.s. Stormbird, for Wellington via Waitara and New Plymouth, took her departure at 4 o'clock yesterday evening. - The Oretl will leave at 11 o'clock to-night for Northern ports. While she has been laid up, besides getting the new shaft Bhe has under, gone a thorough overhaul, and is now in capital working order again.
