WRECK AT CHATHAM ISLANDS.
LITrF.I.T'iN, Sunday.—The s.s. Kahu arrived to-day from the Chatham Islands with tho news of the wrock of the brigantine Rualm (Omaha?) at the Island* on July 24, she having been driven on to a reef while trying to beat out of Owahuuga, and became a total wreck. All hands were saved. She is insured in the N.Z. Office for iJIoOO. An inquiry was held before the Migistrate, and the certificate of Captain Darnell, the master, was suspended for six months.
