Thames, Thursday. Cambria.—l visited this mine to-day, but can throw very little fresh light upon it. At No. 3 level the crosscut towards the winze in No. 1 lode is in nearly 70 feet, and communication should be affected iu about a week. Tho country i« all that conld be desired. Three two or three-inch leaders have been cut since the drive wae started, and all show gold. At No. 2 level the drive on No. 2 cross lode has holed through to thaton No. 1 leader. A series of stringers in tho eastward of No. 2 crosslode, trending towards the hangingwall reef, are being followed. They show gold, and should prove valuable. Westward the croealode from No. 2 crosslode is abont eight inches, rather muliocky, but shows colours of gold. The stopeo ore about as usual. Trenton. —Thorc in now good sandstone in the face, and the heads are running ia a direction favourable for reefs.

Prince Imperial.—On visiting this mine to-day 1 found all hands, including the manager, busy carrying along a leading stops for the purpose of providing ventilation. It ia being done in two sections, so as to complete the work as speedily as possible, and a fortnight ehould see it nearly finished. Caledonian. —Air. Thomas Dunlop takes charge of the mine on Monday.

Royal Oak.—Yesterday news was received in town that the Royal Oak claim at (Joromaudel had obtained a parcel of 401b of rich specimens.
