Tho Directors of this Company beg to notify that it is now necessary to make application to tho Shipping Companief for Frozen Meat Space during the season of 1887 8, and would urge upon growers that, if shipments are to be made from thiß port, they must respond freely and without delay to this notice. It is much to bo regretted that previous notices of this naturo did not meet with response, and the result was loss to all concerned, as it appeared from subsequent applications (received too late to secure space) that sufficient stock would have been forthcoming to justify much larger contracts with Shipping Companies. Stockowners should take into consideration that unless they individually help to continue t h eiport of meat by contributing portions of their flocks for freezing, the effect must be.a glut, and keep down prices in t&o local markets. This Company is prepared to fix the charges at a Consolidated Rate of Sfd (twopence three farthings) per lb. which will cover all expenses from the time of delivering stock at our Okhuhu Yards to the rendering of account sales. This offer of a consolidated rate is made in response to numerous requests from growers, who like to know beforehand exactly what the expenses on their meat will be. THIS TS THE LOWEST CONSOLIDATED RATE YET OFFERED BY FREEZING COMPANIES IN NEW ZEALAND. Sheepowners should be glad to avail themselves of it. Applications will be received up to date of 16th next monih (July). Forms ran be obtained at the Company's Office, Railway Wharf, and, in response to request, will be ent to any address by post.
