AMUSEMENTS.

Abbott's Opera House. — Last night, " Written in Sand" and "Nlta'a First," were repeated at the Opera House before a good house. The first play waß very well performed, and thoroughly pleased everybody ; but the piece of the evening was "Nita's First," which almost drove the audience crazy with laughter. Mr. Anson and Mr. Titneradge were thoroughly in their element in the comic parts they had to play. The trouble in the piece is about Nita's baby, and the audience were immensely tickled when a " real live" one was brought on to the stage. " Betsy" is to be repeated this evening, City Hall.—P. Doran's Mammoth Minstrel Variety Troupe repeated their performance at the City Hall last night. A new farce was introduced which created much laughter. The rest of the entertainment was similar to that of former nights, the songs and dances being excellently rendered. The audience was fairly good, and thoroughly appreciated the bill of fare provided for them. There will be another change of programme this evening. -Agricultural Hall. — Max Rinkla's Royal Acromantia and Temple of Wonders, although not a very high-class entertainment, yet attracted a big crowd at the City Market Hall last night. It is a kind of music hall, circus, and theatre rolled into one, and evidently entirely hit the taste of the audience.
