Volunteer manoeuvres on an extensive scale took place yesterday at Dover and Eastbourne. Large forces were in the field, and the manoeuvres are pronounced to have been an unusual success. The Duke of Cambridge issued an order of the day in which he warmly praised the appearance of the men, and the evolutions performed. LONDON COMMERCIAL NEWS. London, April 12. Consols are 102^, New Zealand inscribed stock is 10s higher, viz., 97 ; New Zealand 5 per cent., 10-40 loan is 5s higher, viz., 101|, Adelaide wheat is 36s 6d ; Adelaide flour, 25s ; New Zealand wheat, lowest qualities, 33s ; best qualities, 37s 6d. Australian beef tallow, 23s 6d ; mutton tallow, 25s 6d. The present series of colonial wool auctions close on the 23rd inst.
