WARRANT AGAINST VV. HOOKER. [ [by TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] a Wellington, Wednesday, n It is stated that Mr, Wm. Hooker, patentee « of the Platinum burner for incandescent light, j left Auckland for Sydney and Queensland by the last trip of the Manaponri. A warrant j for his arrest had been issued by the Chief d Justice here, at the suit of Air. W. Hunt, t for alleged liability due to that gentleman of t £500, being a claim for damages in counec- 1 tion with the sale of patent rights. Before s this -warrant, however, was served, Hooker v went away in the steamer as stated. b . , V
