FATAL ACCIDENT.
A BOY RUN OVER IN QUEEN-STREET, About half-past six o'clock last evening, •- while a four in hand belpnging to Mr. Dignan was coming home from the Ellerelle «Jj races, and was passing down Queen-street, a boy, named Charles Pitcombe, eight years of a g e <Ji got accidentally run over, one of the m, wheels going over hie body. The Naval || Band was going up the street at the time, and the lad, with other children, were following it, and it is supposed his attention was | thus absorbed, so that he was not on the 11 look-out. He was taken to the residence of «& his stepfather, Mr. Peter Petersen, Chapel- .; street North. Dr. Hooper found the lad'« arm broken, and set it, but there were found Wst to be internal injuries, and of these the little ||| fellow died about midnight. An inquest wil ;- take place to-day.
