There has within the last few days been a freah outburst of typhoid. In addition to a number of cases in various parts of the city, a case of diphtheria is reported as in Pompallier Terrace, Ponaonby. The tug Awhina was well tried yesterday in the westerly gale in towing vessels into port. She did, in epite of this, excellent work.
