The English schooner yacht which has recently been transferred to | American flag, sailed her first race can waters on Ootober 1 against the schoouer yacht Sachem. The race, w was for a cup, was over a course from a port, K. 1., and 20 miles to wtojwg and back. The Sachem beat the M«J»» on all points, and won with over * spare, including lmin Sssec handicap.
