MURDEROUS ASSAULT BY A LUNATIC.
[by telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Monday. A lunatic named Reuben Scrimshaw, re* aiding at the Lower flutt, made a murderous attack on his mother on Saturday morning. He was subsequently secured and committed to the asylum. Mrs. Scrimshaw was severely bruised.
