George Dodd's appeal against the decision of the Melbourne Presbytery, was concluded yesterday, the General Assembly rejecting the appeal. THE ENGLISH CRICKETERS. Sydney, November 14. The cricket match, aw-Lily white's Eleven v. a team of the Cumberland Cricket Club, concluded at Parramatta to-day, the visitors winning the match by 23 runs. PROTECTIONIST DEMONSTRATION. Sydney, November 14. ; A Protectionist demonstration took place in Sydney yesterday, several thousand persons joining in the procession. Colonial manufactures were exhibited on an extensive scale. The procession paraded through the principal streets to the Domain, where addresses were delivered. FATAL ACCIDENT TO A JOCKEY. Melbourne, November 13. Cree, the jockey who was severely hurt while riding in the Steeplechase at Flemington, on Saturday last, died yesterday. THE SUEZ MAILS. Melbourne, November 14.
