WESLEYAN DISTRICT MEETING.
TUESDAY. At ten o'clock the business of the district meeting was resumed, fiymii 732 was sang. I. Timothy, iv. was read by the secretary, and prayer by Mr. Whewell. The roll was called, and yesterday's record read and ap proved. The President read a letter from the Rev. 0. Dean to the meeting. It conveyed his resignation of the statue of a Weeleyan minister. The resignation was accepted in the orderly way. The rest of the morning was occupied with preparation of businese for the joint consideration of ministers and laymen on Wednesday in the financial district meeting, which begins its session at half-past nine a.m. As it was the celebration of the birthday of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, a half-holiday was given to the members of the meeting, and the benediotion closed the day's proceedings.
