FIGHTING IN AFGHANISTAN.
♦ -. REVOLT AGAINST THE AMEER. Calcutta, November K. A report has been received from Afghanistan that the Northern Ghilzai tribes have revolted against the authority of the Ameer of Oabul, and succeeded in holding the Afghan troops in check. It is also reported that the Ameer has been obliged to take the field in order to quell the rebellion.
