THE SOUTH AUSTRALIAN GOLDFIELD.
[RECITER'S TELEGRAM.] Adelaide, October IS. It is stated that a hundred ounces of gold have been obtained from Wankaringa in six days. Many persons are leaving Adelaide for the Wankaringa gold diggings, where several fresh nuggets have been found. Another field of gold has been got without washing. The country is covered with quartz.
