Owing to a good gallop on Saturday, 2 to 1 was freely taken about Trident for the Derby, but not mudh money was forthcoming at the price—bookmakers wanting 6 to 4. 10 to 1 can be got about any of the others. The following are the latest quotations on the Cup:— 100 to 20 agst Trident (taken) 100 to 10 Ben Bolt (off) 100 to 10 Isonomy (off) 100 to 8 Sill ermine (off) 100 to 8 Little John (off) 100 to 5 -£- Malua (off) 100 to 5 Grace Darling (off) 100 to 5 Britisher (off; 100 to 3 ethers Stornaway, Zeno, and Nelson have been scratched for the Cup. Dr. O'Hara, the well'known Brighton medico, together with Mr. Jerry Jerome, are credited with winning large stakes over Ben Bolt's victory in the Caultield Cup.
