SUPREME COURT.— Judge's Chambers. Tuesday. (Before His Honor Mr. Justice Gillies.] Law Society and Mb. G. T. Keetley.— Mr. Devore moved for a rule calling on Mr. G. T. Keetley, solicitor, to show cause why he should not be suspended from practice, or such other order as the Court may think fit. The application, after an explanation by Mr, Devore, was withdrawn. Mount Eden Sawmill Company (Limited). —Mr. Campbell moved that a day be fixed on or before which the creditors of the abovenamed company are required to send their names and addresses, and particulars of their claims to the official liquidator, and that a day be fixed for them to come in and prove their said claims, and for direction aS to advertisement of notice of time fixed ; for the sanction of the Court to the official liquidators appointing solicitors to assist them iD the performance of their duties; that a day be fixed to settle the list of contributorias, and for direction as to advertising notice thereof. It was ordered that claims be Bent in within twenty-one days, and to advertise in the Herald and evening paper twice, and once in a weekly paper. The appointment of solicitors was sanctioned, and the 3rd September was fixed as the day on which to settle the list of contributories, notice to be advertised twice in the morning and evening paper. Johannes Peter A mantis Albers.— This was an application by Mr. Rigby upon a certified copy of the will being filed, the original to be taken out of Court. It was ordered that, on filing a certified copy of the will to the satisfaction of the Registrar, permission be granted to take the original off the tile, and deliver it to Hermann Brown, the executor named in the will. R.M. COURT.Tuesday. [Before Mr. H. G. Seth Smith, R.M.J Milne v. Robertson.The claim was for £1 5?, wages as domestic servant at Avondale. Mr. E. Cooper appeared for the plaintiff. The defence was that the plaintiff, a young girl, was taken out of charity, and had not been called upon to do servant's work, and there was no agreement about wages, She had received in money for clothes more than was really due to her. Judgment for plaintiff for £1 43; costs, £1 lis 6d.
