The Auckland Harbour Board's new dredger No. 121 —we hope a name will soon be given to this new addition to the Board's possessions—was taken out of dock early yesterday morning and berthed at the Queen' street Wharf. This craft is to be as speedily aa possible put into thorough working order, so M to enable her to start work in this harbour. The cutter Spey, after having done good eerrioe for the past 21 years in and about this harbour, is about to go hence for fresh fields and pastures new. She has been put in excellent order, and is to sail early in the ensuing week for Cambridge Gulf. Th„ cutter goes hence under the charge of Captain H. Clyne. The schooner Reward, from Whangarei, arrived yesterday with a cargo of 33,800 feet timber, which was discharged during the day. The s.s. Clansman is to be laid up for a trip, during which time she will be taken into dock for cleaning, etc. The s.s. Wellington left in bar stead last evening for Tauranga, Captain Farquhar going in charge. The schooner Waiwera, for Mercury Bay and Gisborne, left last evoning. At the former pls.oe she is to take on board 40,000 feet timber. The sohooners Queen, Jennie B, and Glencairn were all at Whangaroa on Thursday last loading ; the former for Hokianga, the Jennie B for Melbourne, and the GLncairn for Auckland. The brigantine Myrtle, for Cambridge Gulf, and the sohooner Falaogogo for Tonga, both •ailed from Whangaroa with timber on Monday last. The latter vessel is the new schooner built by Messrs. Lane and Brown to the ordor of Messrs. William McArthur and Co. for the chief Maatn. She is about 42 tons register, and 1* on the lines of the first schooner Cygnet. She bad a trial spin in Whangaroa harbour last Saturday, and then acquitted herself well. Captain Dodd has gone in charge of the new schooner. The s.s. Macgregor/from Whangarei, arrived Ib harbour early this morning with cargo and passengers, and last again last evening for the Tame port. The s.s. Glenelg, from Whangarei^ ;# due here early this morning. The s.s. Hannah Mokau is at present engaged in running stock from Whakataue to Tauranga and Meroury Island. The barque Frederick Bassil goes hence to the Kaipara, there to load timber for Dunedin. The s.s. Chelmsford is to go from here this afternoon to Opotiki, and will return again with a cargo of grain, sheep, etc.
