SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT FOOTBALL.
A lad named Biggs, son of Mr. T. H. Biggs, bootmaker, Parnell, had his leg broken at the thigh when playing in one of the junior football matches on the Doman rise on Saturday afternoon. Play was immediately stopped, and a stretcher being procured he was taken to the Hospital, where he is now under the treatment of Dr. Bond, It is not expccted that permanent injury will result.
