«4» [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN correspondents,] Cambridge, Saturday evening. Thk football match between the Cambridge and Hamilton East Public and High Schools combined came off in the Government paddock to-day, and after a very exciting game resulted in a draw, neither aide scoring. The teams comprised the following players :—Hamilton : Messrs. Hume, (2), Seddon, Nichison, Von Stunner, McGlaßhan, K.dwards, Sage, Vincent, Gillett, Hunt, LeQuesne, Gelling, (Jockhead, and Neilnon. Cambridge: Messrs Walker* Siill (2), Hoi-ie, Sargent, Raahworth (2), Richardson, Williams, Recs, Arnold, Wayman, Jones, Lee, and Henare. After the match the teams were invited to tea by Mr. Stewart, master of the Cambridge School, and after spending a pleasant half-hour the visitors left for home. During the match Cambridge v. Kihikihi, played at Kihikihi to-day, Julian, one of the Kihikihi team, had his leg broken, and play was at onco discontinued ; and neither sido having scored, the game ended in a draw. Hamilton, Saturday. Nothing was done at the executive committee meeting of the Railway Reform League to-day beyond wiring to the member for Waikato to know what the contemplated work of the Hon. Mr. Richardson's committee re Vaile's railway scheme is—whether to ask for a commission or send a report of their own on the scheme, and informing the member for Waikato that nothing short of a Royal Commission, which will take Mr. Vaile's evidence, will be satisfactory to the league.
