[from OUR OWN CORRESPONDENTS.] Hamilton, Thursday. A meeting of the Piako County Council will be held in the Borough Council Cham* bers on Saturday next. The Domain Board has called for tenders for the clearing and ploughing of another large block of the Crown lands handed oyer to the borough. It ie also proposed to reserve from further lease, lot 23, containing some twenty-four acres, in West Hamilton, with a frontage to the river, which, if planted with ornamental trees, would make a suitable recreation ground for the inhabit tants.
