THE SEIZURE OF A FISHING SMACK. DEMAND BY THE UNITED STATES FOR ITS RELEASE. Ireutkr's tklegram. I London, May 24. Mr. Bayard, United States Secretary of State, has forwarded a demand for the release of the American fishing vessel David Adams, which was seized by the Canadian Government on account of the infringement of the Fisheries Regulations. An indemnity is also demanded on the part of the owner of the vessel.
