[reuter's telegrams.] THE DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE ON THE COLOMIES. London, May 16. The Executive Commissioners of the Indian and Colonial Exhibition were entertained at a banquet by the Fishmongers Company last night. The Duke of Cambridge, who was among the guests who spoke, expressed his opinion that the feeling of unity between the mother country and her colonies was never more strongly marked than at the present time. His Highness also announced himself as an advocate of federation of the Empire. LONDON MARKETS. London, May 14. New Zealand securities:—s per cent. 10-10 loan, £101 10s; ih per cent. 5-30 ioan, £101 ; 4 per cent, inscribed stock, £99 10s. Colonial breadstuffs and tallow are unchanged. New Zealand mutton is worth 5d per lb. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,880,000 quarters being 10,000 quarters more than reported last Thursday.
