Anniversary Handicap of 55eovs; one mile and a-quarter. —Mr. Brett's Indolence, Gat (Myers), 1 ; Mr. McLean's Rubezahl, 7st Gibs, 2 ; Mr. Stepheneon's Taiaroa, Bst 12lbe, 3. The three were sent away to a good etart, but coming up the straight Rubezahl, who had a slight lead, foil lame, and Indolence won an exciting race. Time, 2mins 18£secs. Dividends, £4 0s 6d and £4 13s.

Selling Race of 30aovs was won by Land Leaguer from two others. Dividends, £4 Is and £4 9a 6d.

Trot of 30sovs was won by Oliver from scratch;' Silver Bell, 2Ssecs, 2 ; Axe, 35eecB, 3. Dividends, £4 Oβ 6rl and £4 12s.

Cliff's Handicap of 35aovs, six furlongs. Mr. Brown's Molly Bawn, Bst lOlbs (Cotton), 1; Mr. Stepheneon's Miss Cook (Gat lOlbs) and Mr. Park's Gossip (6st lOlbs) ran a dead heat for the second place. Time, lmin 21£secs. Dividends, £1 13s and £1 Us.

JSovel Hack of 40aovs; one mile. Mr. Taggart's Martvr filly, 7et 131ba (Loughlin), 1; Mr. Smith's Irie, Sat 6ibs, 2; Mr. Smith's Little JSelly, 6st 51bs, 3. Dividend, £1 15s.

Two Mile*' Trot of 25sovs. Mr. Smith's Follv, with 40*ec8 start, won from six others, paying £15 16s and £8 7s 6d. During the day £3989 was put through the totalisator.
