Galatea went once round at half-pace by herself. Dennett sunt Faugh-a-Ballagh and Aimee twice round slow. The hurdle-horse looks very well. Capsize in clothing covered two miles at a steady pace. Tasman with 11. Derrett up went twice round at three-quarter pace, the old horse going very well. Hoskin's sent Pasha once round steady, and at the top of the straight Rumour picked him up, and the pair did a mile fast. Steps went a mile steadily, moving and looking well. Silence did twice round steadily, and Revolver was was sent a fast gallop over the mile. Ugly Buck with sweaters did twice round at three-quarter puce. Armourer, who looks very well, went twice round in good style. Honor sent Life Buoy and Lady Albany in company a mile at top speed. Grand Duke with rng on went twice round at half-pace. O'Connor gave Kingask three-quarter pace work twice round. Pearl did about two miles slow, moving very woll. Loch Lomond and Forward, in company, went twice round slow, and Captain Webster went the same distance at a steady pace. Soudan was also sent the same journey slow. Salvage, going very freely, went twice round. Erebus was scratched for first day's Hurdle Race at Island Bay at twenty-five minutes to three p.m. to-day. The course is very hard, and rain is badly wanted to improve it. At the Hutt course, a watercart is used daily. WELLINGTON RACING CLUB'S MEETING. Wellington, Monday.
