POISONING BY TUTU BERRIES.

—— Constable W. Walker, of Mercury Bay, telegraphed yesterday to Inspector Kiely that two children of Mr. Robert Henderson, of that place, had been poisoned by eating tutu berries, and that the eldest (five years) had died, while the youngest (three years) remained in a very dangeious state. It seems that they got hold of some tutu berries while playing outside the house, and ate them without being noticed. An inquest is to be held to-day on the child that died.
