TE AROHA NEWS.
[>Y telegraph— CORRESPONDENT.] Te Aroha, Friday. The electric battery obtained from the Telegraph Department a short time since, for public use at the Springs, has now been fixed up in connection with one of the baths in No. 3 bath-house, and is exciting much interest. This system of introducing electricity into the body has been largely used at home and at the German spas, and with excellent results, and there is every reason to believe that an equal amount of benefit will be derived from its use here. A public meeting is announced to be held here next week to take into consideration the, action of the Piako County Council during the last twelve months in matters affecting the welfare of this part of the county. The meeting is likely to be largely attended, as the subjects to be discussed are of much interest.
