H1 SSA ISLANDS. jj The Union Steamship Company jj j of New Zealand (Limited) purpose 111/ despatching their fine steamer ARAPA, 1786 tons register ; 1750 i.h.p., from Auekland, on THURSDAY, 16th July, on a cruise to Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, and other islands of the South Pacific. The steamer will be absent from Auckland one month, half of which will be spent in voyaging and half in visiting arid exploring the islands. Only first-class passengers will be taken, and the number will be limited to 100. Pa'sengers must book by JULY 1; and unless 70 are booked by that date, the excursion will not take plane. The attention of intending passengers is specially drawn to this provision, as it will be strictly observed. To ensure the greatest comfort during the voyage, special arrangements will be made for berthing passengers, allowing liberal accommodation to each, while the date has been fix d with a view to the islands being visited at the best season of the year. Fare, £40 from Auckland. Should sufficient inducement offer a Second Trip will be made on the return of the Steamer, in August, when Fiji will be omitte;, and the Eicursion will be extended to embrace TONGA, SAMOA, TAHITI, and other of the beautiful Groups of the South Seas, This excursion will probably occupy six weeks, and Passengers must book on or before MONDAY, 27th July, on which date it will be decided whet or or not the Excursion will be carried out.
