ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MRDER.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.], Ddnedin, Thursday. Further evidence was taken to-day in the charge against Thos. Mackenzie, mate of the Janet Ramsey, for attempted murder of the captain by throwing him overboard. The evidence showed that the captain .'called the mate a liar, and the latter made a rash at the captain, who went The accused at once called out " The skipper oveirboard."' The charge was dismissed. -
