THE NEW SOUTH WALES CONTINGENT.
THE IBERIA IN COLLISION. FATAL RESULTS. [beuteb's telegram.] Sydney, March 4. As the steamship Iberia, one of the transports, was leaving the heads yesterday afternoon she came into collision with the steamer Nemisis, one of the escorting fleet. Two women and a child were crushed to death by the collision. One of the deceased was watching her husband off to the Soudan. During the procession of the contingent to the Circular Quay several accidents occurred, the crush in some places being terrible.
