* [BY TELEGBAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] Nkw Plymodth, Wednesday. An uneasy feeling exists amongst the settlers in the neighbourhood of Paribaka on account of the removal of Armed.Constabulary to Opunake, and^ v £. i-day five or six telegrams were sent to 3tio 'Native Minister on the subjeot. The Maoris are very bounoeable, and the settlers fear that if any of their cattle should stray there would be unpleasantness in recovering them.
