ECCLESIASTICAL.
To-MOKRDw (Sunday) collections will be taken up in all the Anglican churches of the Auckland diocese oa behalf of the Melanesian Mission. The excellent work which this mission Is accomplishing, and tbe self-denying labours of its missionaries, should ensure a handsome response to the appeal thus made. We understand that, provided the Southern steamer via Manukau does not leave sooner, the Rev. T. Flavell, of Christchurch, one of the Southern representatives of the Educational Institute, will preach at the evening service at St. Paul's Church to-morrow.
