THE EXHIBITION AT ELLERSLIE.
To-day the Agricultural! and Pastoral Association's annual.exhibition of farm '»t6dk,. implements, poultry, dairy produce, looal industry, &c, takes place at Ellerslie.' .The weather being favourable, there is reason to expeot a fairly average exhibition.'. ' The entries of horses are satisfactory, and the same may be'said of. . Sheep, are' entered in ■ large numbers, and it is expected that the finest display in this branch of farm stock ever seen at Ellefelie will'.be witnessed.. The numbers are not only large, but the quality is understood to be'very superior. Iu other respects the show ie. ex? peoted to be fairly attractive. •' The ooni': mittee have been making efforts to surround it with attractive features. The well-known acrobatic performer known as the Australian Blondiu ie to be on the ground, where he will show some of his dexterity. "Exhibitions of horse and bullock taming .will also be given by way of diversion, if beasts 'sufficiently wild can be obtained. Impey's Band will also discourse sweet music during the day. Good arrangements have been.made for furnishing the public with' refreshments during the day, and trains will run at convenient times conveying visitors' from Auckland and the suburban eUtioas'to the' Greon Lane station. The show, with', favourable weather, should prove attractive .to.-dayj and the more so on Monday. :-..., '..'•'
