Cambria.—The final cleaning-up and retorting gave 2620z3. lOdvtts. retorted and 256qzs. ■6dwt«. melted gold, which fetched 53s per ounce, the quantity of quartz put through being 48 loads and 17Olbs. specimens.

Cambria.—The body of quartz eastward, supposed to be the continuation of the lode, is excellently mineralised, and gold has been seen in the stringers. Tenders have been invited for sinking the shaft,- but to-night a telegram was reciived countermanding it, arrangements no t having been completed ■with the Darwin Company. Sir Walter Scott (Karangahake).—The saanager telegraphs that the large reef of both winze and drive are looking welL 3130z5. not water amalgam.
