ANOTHER INJUSTICE TO IRELAND.
The Dnblin correspondent of tbe St. James's Budgetsays a difficulty baa arisen between tbe Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland and the Dnblin medical profession owing to an order to the effect that the wives of the physicians and surgeons to his Excellency shall not in future be permitted to take their places along with the wives of the other official members oE the vice-regal staff in attendance on the Countess Spencer. At the recent drawing-room and the State ball the names of tbe different medical men were not included in the list of those attending upon the Countess Spencer; and it is alleged that intimation was given to the medical staff that their wives must not remain in' the throneroom during the receptions. It is proposed that the medical staff should at once send in their resignations on account of this insult to the profession.
