London, April 24. Consols remain at 102§. The market rate of discount remains at 1£ per cent, and the bank fate ia 2J per cent. The total reserve in notes and bullion has advanced) during the week to £15,800,000. The proportion of«the reserve to liabilities is now 49 per oent. A continuous influx of gold in large quantities is now taking place from North America. • New Zealand securities are follow::—5 per cent. 10-40 loan, lb3§; 5 per cent. 1889 loan, 105; per cent. 1879-1994 loan, and the 4 per cent, inscribed stock, 101 J. 1 Australian breadstuff's and tallow are without quotable change. The shipment of frozen mutton ex steamship British Queen has been landed in good condition, and realized 6d to per pound.
