AUCKLAND FOOTBALL CLUB. The annual meeting of the Auckland Football Club took'place last evening at the United Service Hotel. . Mr. Thomas Henderson presided. There was" a good attendance. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. Mr. Thomas Henderson was elected captain; Mr. A. M. Beale, secretary and treasurer; Messrs. Carter, Lees, Stewart, Moginie, ■'" and O'Connor, committee-men. Messrs. Thomas Henderson and Carter were appointed delegates to the association. The following new members were elected: — M'eßsra: ■ Still; Blair, Carroll, Mathieson,' Bond, Reid, Cooke, Beale, Bamfield, Robins, Harvey, Duncan, George, Penn, Chambers, Kirby, Mills, and Hickey. From this it will be seen ' that the Auckland Football Club will not lack a team. AUCKLAND RUGBY FOOTBALL ASSOCIATIONThe annual meeting of the Auckland Rugby Football Association took place last evening at the United Service immediately after the meeting of the Auckland Football Club. There was a large attendance. Mr. Thomas Henderson presided. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. The balance-sheet showed— Receipts.—Honorary members, £17 7s: club's subscriptions, £10 10s ; Tauranga match, £48 3s 6d ; Bouthern tour, £260 6s 6d; Domain ground, banks' ' match, £1; T. Henderson, jun., advance South, £1 9s 0d; Bindon testimonial! surplus, 83 6d: total, £339 Gs 3d. Expenditure.—Advertising, stationary, stamps, and telegrams, £1310s 7d: general expenses, £10 17» 6d ; Tauranga match, £37 13s 3d ; Southern tour, £267 9d; donation to banquet, £6 15s 6d; balance, £3 7s 8d : total, £839 5s Si.' •The following new clubs were elected as senior clubs for tbe association :—Newton, Gordon, and Albert. His Excellency the Governor was reelected patron ; president, His Worship the Mayor (Mr. W. R. Waddel); vice-presi-dents, Hon. E. Mitchelsoo, Messrs. J. M. Clark, W. S. Wilson. Graves Aickin, A. Heather, A. Devore, H. Brett, L. Coupland; secretary, Mr. C. E. .White; treasurer, Mr. R. Graham, jun.-; A meeting will be called on Monday evening at half-past seven o'clock, at the United Service, to make final arrangements for the selection of the Auckland contingent of the New Zealand representatives to proceed to New South Wales.
