Melbourne, April' 23.. A private telegram has been received here stating that a large speculative demand for the Continent is now manifest in the London 1 wool market. The next series of auctions, which open on the 29th instant, will close about the 18th proximo,- and the quantity of wool available is stated to amount to 370,000 bales, including 28,000 bales Cape wool.
