THE MAN WHO DIED BENEATH THE TELEGRAPH LINE.
[PEK S.S. MANAPOURI, FROM THE BLUFF.] Adelaide, March 12. Further particulars received regarding the roan found dead by the telegraph line are to hand from the lineman. The man's name was Philip Millard. He passed Dalh<>usi«'s Springs about the Ist instant with two horses, which wer* Doth found near the body. He was unacquainted with the country. It is supposed he took the line for a short cut. Millard burnt a pole down to enable him to reach the wire, which he then broke.
